Every missed call gets a text in seconds
Missed-call text-back
An SMS agent that instantly texts back the callers you could not answer, escalates true emergencies to a person, and captures everyone else as a qualified lead.
Missed-call text-back turns the calls you cannot answer into conversations instead of lost jobs. The moment a call rings out, the agent texts the caller from your business number, asks what they need, and works through your intake questions one message at a time. Emergencies are escalated to a real person immediately; everything else becomes a qualified lead with a clean summary and the caller's details.
It is built for emergency-driven local businesses: plumbers, electricians, HVAC, locksmiths, garage door, water damage restoration, towing. The trade is configuration, not code, so the same engine speaks plumbing for one business and electrical for another. It runs on Cloudflare and a Twilio number and costs a few dollars a month to operate.

- Durable Objects
- Workers AI
- D1

How we build it
Under the hood it is the same foundation as our AI agents: one Durable Object per conversation, D1 as the system of record, every model call behind AI Gateway. The first text goes out deterministically with no model call in the path, keyword triage runs before the AI does, and every outbound message passes a compliance gate.
Missed-call text-back questions
What happens when a caller has a real emergency?
Two safety layers. Emergency keywords you approve ("flooding", "smell gas") escalate instantly and deterministically, even if the AI is unavailable. The AI also reads every message and can raise urgency on its own, so an emergency phrased in words nobody predicted still gets caught. Life-safety situations get a fixed, owner-approved response, never AI-written advice.
Is automated texting compliant?
Yes, when built right. STOP and HELP handling, permanent opt-outs, and quiet hours are implemented in the engine and cannot be switched off by configuration. We also handle A2P carrier registration, the paperwork US carriers require before business texting works at all.
Will it quote prices or promise arrival times?
No, unless you explicitly allow a price range. By default it never quotes prices and never invents availability. It captures the job details and hands the conversation to you.
Think this fits your business?
Book a call and we will tell you straight whether this is the right first move, and what it would take.
